Nabeul, 18km north of Hammamet, is the administrative centre of Cap Bon and Tunisia's biggest ceramics centre. Friday is the grand market day where all the tourists will come along. Too bad it wasn't friday when we got there... the sole reason for us to come here was to get a local mobile sim card.. (and might as well check out the famous potteries and its medina on the way too...)

Finally we found the ONAT emporium, which LP suggested that it would be a good place to buy ceramics
This place really was huge, and there were a large collection of ceramic goods in all sorts
and they had a workshop there (but since it was lunch time no one was working)
