Vincent Poon :: Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik was our last stop in Croatia and as one of the most visited places in Croatia, we decided to spend 3 days here. Unfortunately on the 2nd day we had a thunderstorm for the whole day and so we were only left with 2 days to explore this wonderful and unique 'Pearl of the Adriatic', which was certainly not enough and gave us an excuse to come back again! (Maybe will also give the Game of Thrones Tour a try next time!)

Album: Dubrovnik City Wall walk

An UNESCO site by itself, the Dubrovnik City Wall runs uninterrupted for 1940 meters, encircling the Old City. A truly unique experience that will offer you different yet interesting and breathtaking views of the city within and outside. Definitely the #1 must-do item when you visit the city...

and if you are too lazy or can't climb the stairs to do the city wall walk, there is now an alternative option to get to see the whole city from above..

Album: Dubrovnik City - Old & New

Besides climbing the city walls and taking the cable car, the rest of our time was spent in the Old City exploring the museums and the churches, getting lost in the alleyways, checking out the Baroque and Gothic architecture, reading up the history and chilling out near the sea side. Although you could find many of these elements in many  other European cities, Dubrovnik in my opinion is still very unique and is definitely worth another visit
