Vincent Poon :: The Food!

Having been to other cruises before, I must say Celebrity's food really did not disappoint, that included those 'free' food served inside the buffet restaurant as well as the main dining room. The specialty restaurants, of course, were even better and the dining package of US$125 per head (for 4 restaurants) were worth it!

Stephan (I think that's his name) was preparing the Murano Lobster on the spot!
Sushi Lollipops
The staff will teach you how to make the dough, throw and spin, etc....
Grilled Shrimp and Scallops kebab. I thought the grill will be better in Tuscan Grille.
Album: Murano (4th Sep)

Murano, the only French restaurant in the ship, was simply the best! (and the most expensive if you did not buy a package) The food, the place and the dining experience was surely top-notch, oh and the waiter who served us was very handsome too! (not that I really care)

Album: Qsine (30th Aug)

If Murano is good for the food quality, then Qsine really sells surprises. Basically you would not expect you will get an ipad for the menu and you would not expect what you get judging from the names of the menu, and sometimes you would not expect something could taste that 'surprising'!!

Album: Lawn Club Grill (6th Sep)

Lawn Grill Club basically only had two traits: Grills and flatbreads (pizzas), but they made it up for letting you make you own pizza and also grill your own meat (if you didn't mind the smoke), but I would recommend to let the pros to handle if you would not want to spoil your meal!

Album: Tuscan Grille (3rd Sep)

Tuscan Grille is an Italian steakhouse and offered Italian cuisines. We had a window seat and the restaurant was spacious. We would definitely appreciate the food more if we haven't had eaten something in Oceanview first before we came down (ok maybe next time we should not make a booking that late!)

Broiled Carribbean Lobster Tail with Rice Pilaf, Steamed Broccoli and Drawn Butter - Nothing tasted like the lobster we had in Murano!!
but cucumber sushi surely was too innovative for me!
Album: Opus

Opus was the main dining room where we dined there every night. In addition, we also got a very special sunday brunch and also two formal dining nights where the food was usually better! (If you knew what to choose, that is) Basically you get the same table and waiters every night, so make sure you made a good relationship with them on the first night!

Album: OceanView

Oceanview was the buffet restaurant where you came here mainly for breakfast, and lunches (when you were not out), and afternoon tea (if you were still hungry), and midnight snacks... basically almost 24 hrs around the clock you would find something. The good news was, the food was quite good and had much variety for a buffet restaurant on a cruise boat and we always came back to explore after our dinners in Opus to see what we had missed for the night!
