Vincent Poon :: Hotels, hostels and tents..

Definitely not the most luxurious trip this was! (and definitely not the worst!) The only good thing about these hotels/hostels/camps were the price, especially in Jordan!

Although most people would like to stay in the New City in Jerusalem for the modern hotels I would recommend you to try to stay in the Old City as it turned out after dark the Old City was quite a different experience! And don't tell me that you have not been warned!! ;)

Painting at the wall of the swimming pol
My last hotel was Palace Hotel@Amman (10-13 Sep) 191 HKD/night
After climbing some flights of stairs I was finally there. Now I see why it was called the palace hotel
The elevator was basically the most advanced thing in the hotel.

The room was no thrills
Bathroom was the worst, no area for shower, so you basically had to get the whole floor wet afterwards
The restaurant for breakfast was not bad (at least they served breakfast to us during the Ramadan.)
