Vincent Poon :: Na'ama Bay
When I asked Catherine my diving instructor if she lived in Na'ama Bay she said, 'Na'ama Bay has only got hotels, restaurants and shops. No one actually lives here.'

Well, it certainly was not hard to realize this after the first night. Na'ama Bay exists solely for the tourists. The whole area is asleep when the sun shines; when the sun retires, the city really comes alive.

Say goodbye to all the tranquillity you get at the beach during the day, for it is always party time in Na'ama Bay!

PS This area was also the area which was bombed by the terrorists in 2005.

View of the Sinai peninsula from the plane above. The water of the Red Sea is indeed that clear!
Camel Dive Club, where my dive was arranged. After the dive, people would usually stay inside for drinks or some sheesha (water pipes)
Besides the dive club is my hotel, Camel Dive Hotel. The pool here is also used for training for open water divers would-be. Yes, it is very deep that you can get drown.....
What's better than having a nice cocktail and a cheese cake after the dive? (and the meal included a diarrhea much later on at night, free of charge!)

A restaurant along the main street. This was where I had my cocktail and cake.
The main shopping centre in the area: Na'ama Center
"Tea house" mainly for tea and sheesha
There are so many of this kind of teahouses along the streets of Na'ama Bay

In Na'ama Bay, besides the teahouses and souvenir shops are the restaurants.
Many of them serve seafood and usually will display their "Catch of the Day"
Like in Vegas, different restaurants have different themes. This has oriental architecture style X Western Food.... I am not trying!
The last type of shops in the area: souvenir shops. Look at the number of Sheeshas on the bottom right corner. Besides them are the fruit-flavoured tobacco.
