Vincent Poon :: Sveti Stefan, Budva & Podgorica

Besides the must-see Kotor, people would also visit the coast of Montenegro where Budva, Sv. Stefan and the beaches are. To be honest it was the postcardlike scene of Sv Stefan that brought me to stay here and I did not regret it.

Podgorica is the capital but sadly it is not a must-see in Montenegro yet, and we only used the airport to take us to Slovenia

This was the bus that brought us from Croatia to Montenegro. Our journey was prolonged for an extra hour due to a traffic accident en route. (originally 3.5 hrs)
Our journey passed Herceg Novi, then along the inner coast along Risan, stopped by Kotor, then went along the plains and finally arrived in Budva.
Finally we arrived the town of Budva. Different town has different logos and they are all made up of vibrant colours like red, yellow, green and blue
This was the Budva's main bus station, I was not too impressed

Our next leg of the journey is to reach Sveti Stefan. Here we had to venture into the town and find the right bus
The route was only served by Mediteran Express. We missed one stop so we had to walk a long way to find the next one... should have taken the taxi instead
Along the 10 minutes bus ride we saw Sveti Nikola on the way. It could be reached by boat from Budva for its 3 beaches
Finally we arrived Sveti Stefan. Had to note down the timetable as there was nothing in this place with Budva as the nearest town

We checked into our hotel. The only good thing about the hotel was the room with a view
We could sit in the balcony and enjoyed the fantastic sunset view of Sveti Stefan
Last drop of ray was fading out...
Night scene... equally impressive
