馬灣涌村，昔日是東涌最繁華的漁村之一，隨著九七前後政府地區規劃，新屋村佔據了漁村原來的空間，而馬灣涌村亦退居到仿如屏風的逸東村後。漁村對開可看到昂坪纜車電纜，昂坪山上由荒蕪之地變成遊客熱點，山下漁村，卻被一輛一輛纜車將熱鬧載走了。
