My trip to Galapagos has given me not only an unique birding experience in a very remote destination but also unexpected opportunities afterward. I had chances of presenting my experience there in different media and letting people understand my passion in bird photography.  With my photos shown here, I become known to some people living in another corner of the World.

It is quite hard to believe, almost 5 years after the trip, that my photos taken in Galapagos can still attract people visiting my album and Sora is one of them.  What makes me surprised is her message sent from Galapagos asking for permission of using my photos.  I am lucky and it is not uncommon for me to have others' appreciation of my photography work as well as my passion. However, it may be the first time that my photos are used as a reference for painting and, at the same time, advanced permission is requested.  I highly appreciate Sora for her selection of my photos from her artistic eyes but also her respect to me & my photography work, which I think is rare in the internet world nowadays.  Upon her completion, I am honour to have her permission, in return, of showing her beautiful watercolour paintings in my album, which highly enrich the colour of my album.  Her paintings with her passion of connecting to the Nature can be seen from here.

Meanwhile, another honorable good news related to My trip to Galapagos is my recent receipt of a free copy of Handbooks of the Birds of the World - Special Volume, New Species and Global Index from Lynx Edicions.  It is given for one of my photos being selected from my participated HBW World Bird Photo Contest 2012.
