Hi Wilson,
Go to my site and view my Fork Tailed Sunbirds. They are all captured with my Nikon 300mm F2.8 VR with and without TC and handheld and on tripod. http://www.fotop.net/Steenheilesen

Hi Wilson,
You always make some nice sunsets. Nice colours and soft and your subjects are great. For me the sunset is too far away, I think it will become morning before I reach there.
My 300mm is as great as the price ^_^. I'm still practicing, but for the forest and big birds in the harbour I find it great. It's only a problem to get the birds in the right possition. I look forward to use it for butterflies this spring.

Hello Eric,
First of all thank you for your kind
comment on my macro pictures.
The Sigma 150 macro has a distance from
focal plane to subject of 380 mm. When you subtract the length of the
lens <137 mm> and the distance from the focal plane to the lens mount
, the distance from the front of the lens
to the subject is about 180 mm. This is for a magnification
of 1:1. For any other magnification the distance will be greater ofcourse. See
also Sigma's site <http://www.sigma-photo.com/lenses/lenses_all_details.asp?id=3283&navigator=5>.
Hope this will help.
All the best to you too and good
luck.
Rob.

Hi Wilson,
Thanks for your information about the battery. I have already checked it, but didn't find it necessary to write about it, because the they write it's batteries sold in Europe. Are you and Eric well??

Nice bike. Drive with care and not too fast there are sometimes police speed check . I just passed one - I knew they would stay on the spot some day. The speed change from 80 down to 50. The day was today. My speed was 48.

Hi Wilson,
Your Nikon D70 will soon die. My one died yesterday. I have sent it to Nikon and they will repair it in 3 - 4 weeks. I have found some information on the internet about the error. All cameras produced in the period of March – September 2004 can be affected.
This is from a forum;
Nikon acknowledges the problem and promises to fix
Nikon owned the problem and they said they will fix the problem free of charge. You can read it in their website.
I will check with Nikon tomorrow. When I handed over my camera, they didn't tell me it was a known problem even I insisted to get the information right away.
Please leave this information on your site for other Nikon D70 owners.
