Kandy is a beautiful city and is listed as World Heritage by UNESCO. Royal Botanic Garden is 5 km from the city center and covers an area of 60 hectares of more than 10,000 species of plants with foreign and local varieties. It is also a good bird-watching place with more than 80 bird species recorded, including 10 endemic species and some rare migratory birds.

 

Kandy 位於可倫坡東面公里, 是一個優美的古城, 被聯合國教科文組織列入世界遺產。距離市中心五公里的 Royal Botanical Gardens, 佔地60 公頃, 種有1萬棵植物, 有外國及當地品種, 更有由各國元首政客到訪時種下的, 其中有一棵榕樹佔據了 2500平方米。植物園是一個很好的觀鳥地方, 超過 80種雀鳥可以很容易看到，包括10個特有品種和一些珍稀候鳥，另外，亦不難遇見猛禽。
